Single Colour Decks

As you gain more cards and artefacts during events you will find that to compete at the highest levels your decks will have to become more focused .. The most focused decks will always be single colour. This is because it's always easier to get all of your hero's to attack each turn and simplifies the game board as your only really looking for a single colour match. The downside is that if there is no focus colour available then you don't get to attack and this is really bad.

you will need to study your cards to get the best single colour deck ..

The more your deck matches both colour / type and abilities, the stronger it will be ..

So start with your type and leader ability .. Your looking for a leader that will boost both the attack and hit points of the type your going to be using most..
For example , Domi has a great leader ability that gives 300% to damage and HP for all Fire Warrior hero's (including himself) .. The more cards you have which are Fire Warrior Types , the more overall damage you will do..

You will also definitely need at least 1 gem-spawner, ideally 2 (if they match your chosen type even better) as these will make sure that you have enough of your focused colour on the board every turn and these fall into these different categories (again .. Domi is also a red gem spawner so it's becoming a very useful card) :-

Standard Spawners :- These spawn a set amount of gems as their attack ability.. the more the better.
Intensity Spawners :- The spawn a small number of your colour gems to begin with , but the number increases with intensity.
Gem Destroyers :- These work by destroying a gem colour which you don't need and (hopefully) replacing it with the colour your using.
Drop Rate Increaser :- These work by increasing the drop rate of your focus colour.
Passive Spawners :- These have a passive skill which gives a chance of spawning gems regardless of the hero's main attack.

You may not have much of a choice to begin  with when choosing your gems spawners , but you should be looking for the ones that give you the most gems in the shortest cooldown time .. It's pointless having a gem-spawner that gives you 8 if you can only use it every 8 turns ..

Your final choice(s) should be either direct damage or power-gem spawners -- These will be powered up more with all of the single colour gems on the game-board and do massive damage if you get to join 2 power gems together while the board is full of your single colour.

The final part will be setting up your artefacts ..

Choose any artefacts which spawn your focused colour .. Any which give power-gems as well should always be your first choice..
Choose any artefacts which buff your chosen type , sometimes regardless of colour ..  as these will increase overall damage.
Standard artefacts - Always go for damage over healing or defence .. your wanting to remove your opponent asap.

After you have decided on your artefacts make sure that if you have chosen any which spawn the wrong focus colour are added into the first slots , with the correct colour gem spawners going last (as they fire from left to right) ..

Note - make sure that your artefacts can be used by the hero's types you have chosen otherwise they wont be used at all and the slot will be wasted.

Decks like this take a lot of setting up as there are so many aspects to think about which all need to work in synch .. but once you have the basic setup , you can change and upgrade it as new heroes become available ..

There are lots of different ones and it all depends on who they are fighting with .. you try not to awaken them because they both get buffed 300% if one is set to be the leader ..
